The short version: you can play every game on this site without giving us anything. There is no account, no sign-up and no login.

What we store about you

Nothing on our side. We keep no profile of you and no database of what you played.

Your browser stores a little, and only your browser can read it: save states and emulator settings stay on your own device. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we cannot recover them because we never had them.

Like every web server, ours writes an access log — the address the request came from, the page, the time. That is how the site is kept running and abuse is spotted. It is not joined up to anything else.

Ads

The site is free because advertising pays for it. Our advertising partner serves those ads and may set cookies or similar identifiers to decide what to show you and to measure whether an ad worked. That data goes to them, not to us — we see totals, never individuals.

If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with consent rules, you will be asked before any non-essential cookie is set, and the ads fall back to non-personalised if you say no.

You can opt out of personalised advertising across most networks at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu, and Google specifically at My Ad Center.

Other people's servers

The emulator itself is loaded from the EmulatorJS project's own CDN, so your browser makes a request there when a game starts. That request carries what any web request carries.

Children

The games here are the sort children play, and the site is built with that in mind: nothing is collected from anyone, and no account can be created. If you believe a child's information has somehow reached us, write to privacy@y99.tech and we will delete it.

privacy@y99.tech. If you want a copy of what we hold about you, the answer will almost certainly be "nothing", and we will say so in writing.
